TEAM PREPARATION Checklist and Timelines for State Tournament

Important Dates and Times for Div B and C

1. State Qualifiers posted for Div B: February 18th and Div C: March 9th.

2. State Acceptance Form completed by 7:00 am March 26th

3. Coaches to select 23 of 28 events for Team Score by 7:00 am April 2nd in Avogadro.

4. Sign-up for Self-Schedule Events on Avogadro: Varsity teams opens at 7:00 am April 2nd, Junior Varsity exhibition teams opens at 7:00 am April 9th , both close 7:00 am April 13th. NOTE: Junior Varsity teams may not be locked out, but any selections before April 9th will be deleted.

5. Enter student names in Avogadro for events by 7:00 am April 13th.

6. Register as head coach on Scilympiad and add your team(s).

7. Add students and assign students to events in Scilympiad.

8. Nominations due April 13th for 2021Outstanding Student Award.

9. Upload Required Forms by 7:00 am April 13th

Coach Checklist:

1. Have you made arrangements for travel and lodging to Milwaukee?

2. Coaches please review the following Required Forms and upload these documents here.

  • Team Roster Form (listing 15 students and any additional students who will be competing at the State Tournament) signed by the school principal.

  • Publicity Waiver Form

  • Medical Consent Form: A copy of a school district form is acceptable substitution for the WSO Medical Consent

5.  Did you complete the online team registration process at Avogadro? Select 23/28 events, enter student names, self-schedule events.

6. Did you register as coach, build your team(s) add students, and assign students to their events on Scilympiad?

7. Did you inform students of their Scilympiad login? Scilympiad will assign each student a unique login that will allow them to access the exams and information for the events they are competing in on tournament day.

7.  Did you completely read the State Tournament page that includes policies and information regarding the Opening and Awards Ceremonies and Requirements for the Parade of Schools?

8. Did you review the Schedule of Events and other tournament details?

9. Teams spaces (homerooms) for Division B is in COMING SOON, and Division C in COMING SOON

10. Did you check the event clarifications and Rules Clarifications and FAQs?

11. Did you read the Wristband Procedures?

12. Follow Twitter and @UWM for emergency communications.

13. Do your students have all of their safety equipment?
